We are seeking talent to develop and implement solutions for the Transportation sector, focusing on Java, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL. **Requirements** -------------- **What are the requirements?** * Minimum of 5 years of experience in system development, preferably web systems; * Knowledge of Java for desktop applications; * Proficiency in SQL is essential (queries, stored procedures, basic modeling); * Familiarity with code versioning (Git); * Ability to document systemic processes, test results, and technical specifications. * Experience gathering user requirements, understanding system functionality, and mapping business processes. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * English reading/writing proficiency. Desirable: * Knowledge of other technologies such as React Native and C#; * Experience with API integrations (REST/JSON); * Understanding of architectural patterns and software development best practices; * Experience in the logistics sector is a plus. **Responsibilities** --------------------- **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Maintaining and enhancing existing web systems (PHP, JavaScript, CSS) and desktop systems (Java); * Developing and optimizing database queries and routines in relational databases (SQL Server); * Participating in requirement analysis and elicitation with business teams; * Collaborating with other developers and departments across the company; * Supporting feasibility studies, proof-of-concept initiatives, and technical discussions related to future migration to new technologies; * Continuously pursuing technical learning and growth with support from the internal team. * Understanding and promoting best practices and standards across solutions. * Adhering to information security guidelines when implementing DHL portfolio systems. **About DHL** --------------- DHL Supply Chain is a global leader in logistics, connecting people and businesses.
