Development and implementation of environmental policies We are seeking an Environmental Technician to implement, monitor, and control the company's environmental practices, ensuring compliance with current legislation, prevention of environmental impacts, and promotion of sustainability in operations. **Academic Qualifications** * Technical degree in Environmental Science or related fields; * Knowledge of environmental legislation and environmental standards; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; **Professional Experience** * Prior experience as an Environmental Technician, preferably in industrial settings. **Technical Skills** * Develop and implement the environmental policy for the project. * Conduct audits, monitoring, and assessments in the field. * Develop environmental education initiatives. * Participate in expert inspections, internal audits, and environmental oversight activities. * Investigate and analyze environmental incidents and recommend preventive and control measures. * Deliver training on environmental policies and applicable standards for the project. * Promote preventive environmental campaigns to raise awareness among all personnel regarding environmental risks and impacts. * Comply with and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations, quality management system standards, and environmental management standards. * Adhere to specific Work Orders for this role and other directives issued by the company. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any changes rendering them unsuitable for use. * Report any abnormal situation that may pose a risk of occupational accident or disease. * Availability for fieldwork and, when necessary, travel.
