The Ice Cream business operates in a highly attractive category as part of the $1 trillion snacks and beverages industry, growing consistently at an accelerated pace. We own strong brand equities: 5 of the top 10 best-selling brands, including Wall's, Magnum, Ben \& Jerry's. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as an independent entity once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to occur by November 2025. Ice cream has distinct characteristics compared to other Unilever operating businesses, and the Ice Cream growth potential will be better delivered under a different ownership structure. After an establishment period of approximately 12 to 15 months, you will have options for career exploration and growth, enabling you to explore roles and opportunities through available openings. **We hope you want to build the next chapter of our ice cream story with us.** **FUNCTION PURPOSE** Unilever Ice Cream is where you can bring your purpose to life through the work you do – creating a better business and a better world. The purpose of this role is to ensure the area operates in compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental standards according to Unilever standards and current legislation, and to report any substandard conditions or actions, including those by third parties. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Responsible for operating less complex equipment (Kliklok, Pakmatic, fruit\-feeder, skid, blender, conveyors, surge tables, metal detector, freezing tunnel, automatic weighing scale, etc.) and highly complex equipment (fillers, mixers); * Perform minor equipment adjustments according to established standards; * Monitor and record daily production; * Request material replenishment on production lines; * Contact maintenance and quality teams as needed; * Coordinate with Mix Plant to meet production plans (supplying mix to maturation tanks); * Participate in daily meetings (FOS), sharing line performance information; * Supply packaging materials to machines; * Load inclusion materials into the fruit feeder; * Supply coating material for inclusion into the chocolate skid; * Perform changeover activities (product change); * Conduct product quality control (weight, sensory evaluation, CRQS, temperature analysis, and other necessary analyses for manufacturing dossier) and, when required, record data in SAP QM; * Inspect, clean, and lubricate equipment; * Sanitize equipment, storage tanks, and pipelines; * Carry out routine management system activities; * Ensure the area operates safely in accordance with Unilever standards and local legislation (report incidents, issue SHE and maintenance tags, create kaizens, apply OPA, conduct/participate in DDSHE); * Ensure environmental system requirements are maintained within the area; * Know and apply quality, health, safety, and environmental policies; * Maintain a clean and organized workplace throughout the entire shift; * Execute tasks according to procedures and instructions of the work area, meeting organizational policies, objectives, targets, and performance standards; * Apply WCM tools and contribute to step-change improvements across pillars; * Perform material reconciliation and inventory following the Cordillera flow; * Conduct shift handover via e\-mail; * Participate in investigations related to Safety and Quality accidents/incidents; * Operate palletizing supervisory systems and automated equipment (palletizing cell and stretch wrapper); * Perform manual palletizing of products when necessary; * Manage SAP (Cordillera) for products – LPN; * Supply packaging materials used in palletizing; * Send rework and non-conforming products back to filling lines; * Participate in commissioning, industrial testing, and projects; * Monitor process parameters of equipment; * Perform minor civil repairs according to acquired training. **DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?** **Experience \& Qualifications** * High school diploma completed; * Previous experience in manufacturing; * Training as specified in LNT for the role according to procedure PRVL\-RHS/0002 \- EMPLOYEE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT; * Knowledge of OEE concepts and loss tree; * Basic understanding of Autonomous Maintenance steps; * Familiarity with analysis tools (5G / 5W 1H / Multiple Why / 4M / EWO and derivatives). **Skills** * Safe behavior; * Good interpersonal skills; * Integrity and attention to detail. **ARE YOU EXCITED TO CREATE THE FUTURE OF ICE CREAM?** Unilever embraces diversity and encourages applicants from all walks of life.
