Linux infrastructure automation and management **Job Description** We are seeking a **Linux Infrastructure** specialist to join the technology team of a strategic client. The candidate will be responsible for administering, optimizing, and securing Linux servers in critical environments, ensuring infrastructure high availability, performance, and resilience. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Server Management:** Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) in On-Premise and Cloud environments. * **Monitoring and Performance:** Implement and manage monitoring tools such as **Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana** to monitor availability, capacity, and performance. * **Security:** Apply security policies, configure firewalls (iptables/firewalld), perform system hardening, and manage access controls (SSH, keys, sudo). * **Automation:** Develop scripts (Bash, Python) and use **Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)** for automated provisioning and management. * **Networking and Services:** Configure and maintain network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, Samba) and web/application services (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat). * **Backup and Disaster Recovery:** Implement and test backup routines and disaster recovery (DR) plans. * **Documentation:** Create and maintain technical infrastructure documentation and operational procedures. * **Technical Support:** Resolve **second- and third-level** incidents related to Linux infrastructure. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Proven experience in **Infrastructure with focus on Linux**. * Proficiency in **Shell Scripting (Bash)** and task automation. * Solid knowledge of **computer networking** (TCP/IP, routing, subnets, VPNs). * Experience with **Configuration Management tools (Ansible preferred)**. * Hands-on experience in **virtualization and Cloud Computing** environments. * Knowledge of **monitoring and logging systems** (Zabbix, ELK Stack). * Familiarity with **CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)** environments. * **Technical English** for reading documentation. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with **containers and orchestration** (Docker, Kubernetes). * Knowledge of **DevOps practices and Agile methodologies**. * Experience with **databases** (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). * **Linux certifications** (LPIC, RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+). * Experience with **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using Terraform. **Desired Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. * Ability to operate in critical, high-availability environments. * Capability to solve complex problems and document processes. * Knowledge of software development (Python) and system integration.
