We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Firmware Developer to join our team. The professional will work on R&D projects for firmware development with a focus on optical communication equipment. The professional will be responsible for defining software architecture, developing tools and libraries, and managing the technical aspects of their activities. Requirements: **Required Skills and Qualifications** Degree in Computer Science or related fields. Strong command of core Software Engineering concepts such as programming paradigms (minimum OOP and imperative), data structures and algorithms, software architecture (abstraction, componentization, reuse, decoupling, etc.), software testing, quality processes, among others. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including activity and epic mapping, effort analysis, dependencies, parallelization, etc. Strong proficiency in C, C++, and desirable Bash, Python, and other languages. Knowledge of network programming, communication systems (optical, wired, etc.) and their protocols (such as OIF-CMIS, TCP/IP, gRPC, OSI model, etc.). Advanced knowledge of embedded operating systems (RTOS, Embedded Linux), including fundamental principles. Knowledge of standard hardware interfaces such as serial ports, I2C, SPI, GPIO, etc. **Advantages:** Dynamic profile, including autonomy and proactivity in decision-making.
