Responsibilities include mentoring more junior designers through critiques, pair design, and sharing practical references; aligning design decisions with product strategy, technical feasibility, and business outcomes. Ability to think holistically about design—considering business, users, and technology. Experience or aptitude for providing technical leadership to other designers. Familiarity with generative AI concepts and agentic systems applied to products. Proficiency in AI-assisted prototyping tools (e.g., v0, Cursor, Claude, or similar). **Clear and objective communication:** ability to present, defend, and iterate on design proposals. Portfolio demonstrating the reasoning behind solutions—not just interface aesthetics. **Nice-to-Haves:** Genuine desire to lead and develop people, with a systemic vision—acting as a technical reference and supporting team growth.
