They play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. In PwC's data engineering practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions. Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, with a focus on data engineering; * Proven experience in data engineering projects, including data collection, processing, and integration; * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions; Prior experience in roles such as Junior Data Engineer or similar positions in the field of data engineering. * Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Python and SQL; * Familiarity with Java, Scala, or other programming languages; * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra); * Proficiency with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka; * Advanced knowledge of ETL processes and tools, such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica; * Knowledge of cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; * Proficiency with code versioning systems, such as Git; Experience with data warehousing solutions, such as Delta Tables, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake. * Academic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
