Ready for a career that yields more? **Check out this opportunity and \#JoinPagBank!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Define testing strategies, approaches, tools, and test types applied to projects, ensuring efficient and high-quality deliveries. * Participate end-to-end in the development lifecycle: attend alignment sessions, refinements, story creation, development, validation, deployment, and production monitoring. * Promote a quality culture, ensuring appropriate tests exist at every stage of development. * Contribute business knowledge by identifying risks, supporting acceptance criteria definition, and building clear and effective test scenarios. * Perform QA and production troubleshooting using logs and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Kibana, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, Grafana), assisting teams in problem identification and resolution. * Develop test automation (API, integration, end-to-end Web or Mobile) and automate repetitive tasks. * Collaborate with other internal QA teams and communities to continuously improve quality practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * Knowledge of programming logic and experience with languages such as **Java, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby**. * Experience in test planning, preparation, and execution. * Experience with testing techniques and strategies, including the test pyramid and agile testing quadrants. * Experience automating API/integration tests (e.g., Rest-Assured, Karate, Postman, Insomnia) and Web UI tests (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright). * Experience with Mobile testing and automation using Appium or native frameworks (Espresso, XCUITest), and cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., BrowserStack or similar). * Experience designing BDD scenarios. * Experience querying and manipulating data in relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL). * Experience using GitHub for version control. * Experience identifying and analyzing issues using logs, monitoring tools, database queries, mocks, and simulators. * Understanding of the full software development lifecycle—from upstream through post-production monitoring. * Knowledge of Agile Testing concepts. **Additional Information** **To stand out in this role, it would be great if you also had:** * Understanding of microservices architecture, dependencies, and associated technologies (e.g., databases, messaging systems, cloud, frameworks). * Experience with non-functional testing—including performance and load testing—using tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or k6. * Experience with agile methodologies and working as a QA professional in agile environments. * Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB). * Familiarity with development practices such as TDD, CI/CD, test coverage, and code quality metrics. * Hands-on experience with tools and platforms including: CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions; Messaging: RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS; Cloud & Orchestration: Kubernetes, AWS (ECS, Lambda); Monitoring & Logging: Splunk, New Relic, Firebase, OpenTelemetry.
