Operational optimization and incident reduction. **Job Description** We are seeking a Junior Infrastructure Analyst to provide support, monitoring, and maintenance for the company's network infrastructure. The professional will assist in incident resolution, monitor equipment performance, and support internal teams, ensuring service availability, security, and stability. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitoring of network resources including Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Controllers, and Access Points across the corporate office and Refinery environments, as deployed per the equipment baseline tables; * Coordination and follow\-up with vendors under active maintenance contracts (e.g., Fortinet, HP, Palo Alto, Cisco, or any other vendor) for network equipment requiring resolution; * Supporting monthly network asset inventory control and reporting; * Supporting process improvement evaluations; * Documentation of performed procedures; * Supporting configuration and/or adjustment of existing VPNs between the Refinery and Office, and Azure Cloud environment; * Supporting firewall administration, rule creation, and adjustments according to each environment’s requirements, established governance, and REFMAT-provided security guidelines; * Assisting in operational, governance, and process-related decisions; * Supporting implementation of improvements (IMACs) to optimize operations and reduce incidents, subject to formal REFMAT approval. Resource List and Location **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed or ongoing degree in Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, and routing protocols. Familiarity with switch and router configuration (Cisco, HP, MikroTik, or similar). * Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, etc.). Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and organizational skills for handling tickets and end users. **Desirable Requirements** * Prior experience in technical support or NOC. * Experience in Data Center or Cloud Networking environments. * Training/certifications such as **CCNA**, **NSE1/2/3**, **HCIA**, or similar. * Basic knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, etc.).
