That’s what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.* We are looking for a Service Electromechanic II whose mission will be to coordinate and execute field equipment assembly activities in accordance with project specifications, aiming to meet delivery deadlines, cost targets, and pre-established quality standards. Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic adjustments of machines/equipment to maintain them in optimal working condition. Job Description * Execute the agreed-upon project scope, install and/or replace components, reprogram, test, and release equipment for production. Prepare and submit reports related to performed services, per procedure. * Visit customers to assess existing plant conditions for equipment assembly. * Coordinate and guide third-party assembly teams, assigning tasks and providing necessary technical support to ensure project fulfillment. * Monitor and evaluate physical progress of the project against timelines, identifying required actions to prevent delays. Inspect and approve completed work. * Coordinate and/or perform equipment start-up services. * Arrange with the customer formal acceptance of project completion via delivery protocol presentation. Suggest improvements to the assembly process. * Perform assembly operations. * Comply with company policies, procedures, and/or regulations related to work processes, quality management systems, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, labor legislation, and safeguard documentation under one’s responsibility—including maintaining workplace organization, security, confidentiality, cleanliness, and order. * Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Qualifications * Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or related fields. * Minimum experience in the field. * Familiarity with standard equipment, process bridges, and chain hoists. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. * Knowledge of frequency converters and inverters (NRs 01, 06, and 10 — mandatory); NRs 11 and 35 desirable. * Desirable knowledge of electronics. * Desirable knowledge of industrial automation. * Proficiency with Word and Outlook. * Valid driver’s license (Category B). * Up-to-date administrative routine practices.
