Strategic partnership with business areas to drive efficiency and innovation **Job Description:** ---------------------- Be responsible for leading the Information Technology department, ensuring the operation, evolution, and alignment of IT infrastructure, systems (including ERP TOTVS Protheus), networks, security, and technical support—with a focus on delivering business outcomes for the technology retail sector. Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Operations, and Logistics departments to promote efficiency, scalability, and innovation. Key responsibilities: Manage the IT team—including infrastructure, networks, servers, systems, technical support, development (where applicable), and external vendors. Ensure availability, performance, and security of IT environments, including implementation of information security policies, backups, disaster recovery, and IT governance. Administer, configure, and ensure optimal operation of the TOTVS Protheus ERP and its modules (purchasing, sales, inventory, finance, etc.), serving as the liaison with consultants/vendors. Define and execute an IT strategy aligned with the company’s business plan, identifying opportunities for automation, system integration, and continuous process improvement. Collaborate with business areas (retail, commercial, operations) to understand requirements, map needs, prioritize projects, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, software licenses, performance indicators (KPIs), and SLAs. Lead system implementation or enhancement projects, infrastructure upgrades, or digital transformation initiatives. Ensure IT compliance, adherence to applicable standards/regulations, and integrity of data and systems. Prepare periodic reports for senior management on IT status, risks, investments, KPIs, and technology roadmap. **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as an IT Manager, preferably in retail or technology sectors, with hands-on experience in environments using ERP systems (preferably TOTVS Protheus) and IT infrastructure. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, databases, networks, servers, information security, cloud/hybrid environments, backup, and disaster recovery. Experience managing IT teams, vendors, and IT budgets. Portfolio of successfully delivered IT projects (infrastructure, systems, or integration) and a strategic business perspective. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, department heads, and technical teams—translating technology into business value.
