




The Fishmonger is the specialist responsible for ensuring excellence and freshness in our Fish Department. Their mission is to handle, process, and display fish and seafood, following strict hygiene, food safety, and customer service standards, acting as a true consultant for river products. **Responsibilities and duties** Perform receiving, inspection, and proper storage of fish and seafood, verifying product quality and temperature. Carry out **complete processing** of products (cleaning, scaling, filleting, cutting into steaks and portions), according to Good Practices and specific customer requests. Ensure organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of the **Cold Room** and display counter, strictly following ANVISA/MAPA regulations. Perform shelf-life control and inventory rotation (**FIFO**), minimizing losses and ensuring product freshness. Keep the display counter clean, attractive, and properly labeled (price, product name) with correct ice presentation. Provide **excellent** customer service by offering preparation suggestions, informing about product origin and seasonality, and fulfilling the mandate: **"The Customer is the Reason for Our Business."** **Requirements and qualifications** **Proven experience** in the role of Fishmonger or Seafood Handler. Practical knowledge of filleting techniques, portioning, and special cuts. Knowledge and strict adherence to **Hygiene and Food Safety** regulations. Completed Elementary or High School education (desirable). Proactivity, agility, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
