They also ensure adherence to preferred contracted carrier selection or internal fleet usage, and guarantee delivery in accordance with established service levels. **Responsibilities – Activities** * Manage outbound deliveries * Mobilize products and materials * Monitor freight costs * Plan shipments * Submit/contract shipments **Additional Responsibilities** * Serve as the Business Line’s logistics focal point for its logistics movements. * Validate transportation requests and required delivery dates for a defined geographic region or route, ensuring on-time delivery. * Prepare equipment loading plans per standard operational planning procedures to maximize utilization of rental equipment and call-outs. * Use planning and rate verification tools to obtain competitive costs, applying preferred contracted rates. * Plan efficient transportation routes using cargo consolidation and space optimization, while maximizing backload opportunities to reduce costs. * Monitor shipment execution, track movements, and manage deviations with logistics providers, keeping internal stakeholders updated. * Manage fixed weekly schedules and regional pickup/delivery routes. * Issue service orders prior to each movement with associated cost approvals. * Identify logistics improvement projects or opportunities. * Ensure full compliance of transportation activities with international transportation regulations. * Monitor status and performance of cargo movements and investigate deviations. * Implement proactive and corrective actions, with appropriate communication, when potential deviations are detected. * Evaluate carrier performance regarding on-time pickup and delivery. * Manage domestic or international logistics movements, ensuring compliance with Schlumberger policies and processes, as well as local regulations (including finance, HR, LTC guidelines, and QHSE). * Ensure proper electronic document storage in the system. * Participate in performance review meetings. * Monitor and record logistics milestones in the corporate system. * Report any deviations in QUEST and follow up on the action plan for continuous service quality improvement. * Obtain freight cost approvals from Business Line representatives and select freight forwarder proposals in the bidding system. **Minimum Requirements:** * Completed degree in Logistics Technology * Experience in administrative/logistics functions * Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP required * Intermediate English * Experience in cargo movement is a plus Benefits International Opportunities Global adventure, broad exposure, and limitless learning await you.
