Support all operations departments to achieve business goals while ensuring compliance with targets related to production volumes, delivery timelines, quality levels, and manufacturing costs. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop the plant’s business plan and ensure achievement of targets; formulate long- and short-term strategic plans; and ensure effective management of all plant operational costs; * Ensure employee safety across all areas by training and guiding the team on key company policies, standards, and regulations; * Guarantee employees’ rights stipulated under the Brazilian Consolidated Labor Laws (CLT), thereby preventing potential fines, liabilities, or legal proceedings against the company; * Support employees’ career development by implementing internal development tools (e.g., Talent Profile, Talent Review, Performance Evaluation) and other necessary resources, while ensuring appropriate training and hiring/retention of qualified personnel; * Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental requirements; * Direct plant operations through implementation of established policies and procedures; * Ensure personal and corporate compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures, and maintain positive community relations; * Build high-performing teams to generate value through products aligned with customer specifications regarding service, quality, delivery timelines, and cost—while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation; * Ensure product production complies with quality and food safety specifications; * Audit and establish process and production guidelines via Amcor’s Quality Management System, based on equipment manufacturer specifications, raw material requirements, and customer specifications, to standardize and optimize injection or blow molding production processes—and sustain team productivity and achievement of defined goals and KPIs; * Ensure product safety through the company’s implemented Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); * Report any incidents that may impact product safety or affect the Quality Management System. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE** **Education, certifications and training required** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; * Specialization: Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Production Engineering; * Fluent English and Spanish; **Skills and competencies:** **Competencies:** * Drives vision and purpose; * Strategic mindset; * Sets priorities and drives results; * Customer focus; * Fosters innovation; * Attracts and develops talent; * Engages people and teams; **Skills:** * Cross-functional collaboration with Corporate; * Team coordination and management; * Global perspective and strategic vision; * Logical reasoning. **EXPERIENCE:** * Proven experience managing teams, preferably as Plant Manager; * Minimum one year in current role; * Strong knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement; * Knowledge of Human Resources / Labor Relations and Brazilian labor laws (CLT); * Strong understanding of safety and environmental requirements; * Knowledge of finance and planning; * Familiarity with Internal Auditing of Quality Standards and ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and ISO 9001; * Proficiency in Excel and Power BI tools. **About Amcor** Amcor is the global leader in developing and producing responsible consumer packaging and dispensing solutions across a variety of materials for nutrition, health, beauty and wellness categories.
