The professional will work in a multidisciplinary capacity, integrating automation, instrumentation, supervision, industrial networks, and process digitalization—ensuring robustness, operational reliability, and adherence to industrial requirements. The role involves simultaneous work across multiple projects—from proof-of-concept stages to factory-floor implementation—supporting strategic technical decisions and serving as a reference for multidisciplinary teams. **Education** Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop industrial automation architectures for machines and processes * Program and integrate PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems * Integrate industrial devices, sensors, instruments, and drives * Define control, interlocking, and supervision strategies * Integrate automation systems with digital platforms and databases * Work with industrial networks and communication protocols * Support industrial digitalization and IIoT initiatives * Perform field commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting * Conduct functional testing, validation, and failure analysis * Prepare technical documentation (electrical diagrams, architecture, I/O lists, reports) * Support technical assessments, scope definition, and engineering proposals * Interface with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams **Technical Qualifications** **Industrial Automation** * PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, or similar) * HMI and SCADA system development * Industrial automation architecture (ISA\-95 / Purdue Model) * Industrial control and interlocking strategies * Integration across field, control, and supervision levels **Instrumentation and Drives** * Industrial sensors and process instrumentation * Frequency inverters, servo drives, and soft starters * Fieldbus networks and distributed devices * Electromechanical integration of industrial systems **Industrial Networks and Digital Systems** * Industrial protocols (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC\-UA, MQTT) * Industrial networks (switches, VLAN, redundancy, segmentation) * Integration with MES systems, historians, and IIoT platforms * Fundamentals of edge computing and industrial cloud **Engineering and Documentation** * Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams * Developing technical and functional documentation * Commissioning and industrial troubleshooting * Failure analysis and operational support **Experience** * Proven experience in industrial automation * Participation in significant industrial implementation, integration, or modernization projects * Experience in factory environments and system startup in live operations * Experience managing multiple industrial projects simultaneously
