A professional responsible for assembling reinforcing steel frameworks and concrete/steel structures, interpreting engineering drawings, and using various tools to prepare and install rebar.

**Requirements**
**Education:** Incomplete Elementary School
**Professional Experience:**
Assembly of concrete and steel frameworks and structures on construction sites;
**Years of Experience:**
Proven experience documented in Work Card (CTPS) as Reinforcing Steel Worker, Mason, or Carpenter
**Knowledge / Training:**
Drawing Interpretation | Knowledge of Cutting Machines, Angle Grinders, Drills, and other equipment |
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Prepare reinforcement cages for concrete structures and test specimens; Cut and bend rebar for slabs; Assemble and install reinforcement for foundations, columns, and beams;
Interpret architectural and structural drawings; Assemble workbenches; Set up cutting machines; Identify materials required for rebar assembly; Select reinforcing bars;
Measure rebar and reinforcement cages; Comply with Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures inherent to the position.
