Apply now and join our journey. **Responsibilities and duties** * Drive the vehicle with heightened attention to the "sloshing effect" (liquid movement inside the tank), which may compromise stability when turning. * Asset stewardship: Perform the vehicle’s daily checklist (tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels) and report any mechanical anomalies. * Compliance with regulations: Strictly adhere to traffic laws (CTB) and occupational safety standards (PPE) on construction or mining sites. * Route planning: Identify optimal routes, bearing in mind that tanker trucks are heavy and may face restrictions on bridges or highly unstable terrain when fully loaded. * Tank cleaning: Ensure the tank interior is free of residues, especially when transporting potable water (requires periodic sanitization). * Accessory maintenance: Maintain the integrity of hoses, quick couplings, nozzles, and valves to prevent leaks and water waste. * Load control: Monitor the volume of water loaded to avoid exceeding the truck’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). **Requirements and qualifications** * Driver’s license Category D or E; * EAR (Paid Activity Certificate); * MOPP Course (Hazardous Materials Handling); * Experience with "live load" (liquids): Unlike dry cargo, water shifts inside the tank. The driver must know how to operate the vehicle to prevent rollovers during turns and sudden braking; * Hydraulic pump operation: Technical knowledge to engage the power take-off (PTO) and operate transfer and suction pumps; * Basic mechanics: Ability to identify simple failures in hoses, valves, pressure regulators, and brake systems; * Defensive driving: Certification or training in safe driving, with emphasis on accident prevention on uneven terrain (common on construction and mining sites); * NR-11 and NR-12 training: Regulatory standards on transportation, material handling, and workplace safety involving machinery and equipment; * Firefighting basics: Knowledge of monitor nozzle operation to support fire brigades; * Sprinkler maintenance knowledge: Ability to clean and adjust spray nozzles to ensure uniform soil dampening. **Additional information** * Hazard pay: 30% * Hapvida Health Plan (no monthly payroll deduction for the primary holder — 20% co-payment model); * Bradesco Dental Plan (payroll deduction); * Life insurance; * Total Pass; * Meal allowance: R$ 820.00; * Mobility allowance: R$ 130.00.
