As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on R&D projects for complex systems—primarily software—for various sectors, with emphasis on the manufacturing industry and Industry 4.0.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
Understanding client needs, conducting analyses, and developing requirements while considering technical, contractual, and stakeholder perspectives—including project coordinators, technical leads, UX designers, and quality analysts—and guiding system design;
Technically managing changes throughout the project lifecycle, supporting the project manager and providing technical information regarding project progress and risks;
Proposing incremental deliveries, monitoring development progress, testing execution, and acceptance validation.
We expect you to possess the following knowledge and skills:
Primary degree or extension courses in systems engineering, requirements engineering, or business analysis;
Experience in designing R&D software projects and managing their requirements;
Practical knowledge and experience with agile methodologies;
Interpersonal skills required to build client relationships and lead technical discussions;
Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and leadership capabilities;
English language proficiency: advanced reading/writing and intermediate speaking.
**Preferred qualifications include:**
Certifications in Systems Engineering (e.g., INCOSE, IREB, or others);
Knowledge of systems/software modeling techniques, UML, SysML, or other modeling approaches;
Knowledge of business process modeling techniques;
Experience managing product requirements for certification processes or regulatory compliance;
Experience in manufacturing-sector or Industry 4.0 projects;
Experience in projects involving software-hardware integration.
**Required education:** Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
**Availability:** 40 hours per week. Hybrid work model for residents of Manaus/AM; remote work available for residents of Western Amazon states (Amazonas, Amapá, Acre, Rondônia, Roraima).
**Work location:** Manaus/AM.
