If you identify with our company, join VALGROUP—we’ll go much further together! **#transformplasticwithus** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure safe and high-quality delivery of production volumes; monitor hourly production plans and output quantities against targets, taking corrective action when deviations occur; * Support management to ensure all operational staff are trained and qualified; * Verify that machines and equipment are ready for production start-up, or request repairs from the Maintenance Department; monitor machine scrap (trim) levels and implement actions to reduce or eliminate them; * Oversee all production stages, coordinating team activities; understand all operations at workstations under your responsibility to guarantee process continuity; * Monitor production trials for new products, processes, or raw materials jointly with the Development Department; * Monitor the development of Quality Control procedures; ensure necessary team training for area operations and maintain updated training records; * Enforce proper use of PPE by employees and ensure work is performed safely; * Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices across the entire production process; maintain and calibrate equipment; manage electronic timekeeping for your team; serve as the focal point for audits; manage consumables used in the area; control and maintain the area; * Organize and allocate labor to meet production scheduling requirements; control opening and closing of Work Orders within their respective deadlines; * Guarantee information exchange between shifts; keep your team continuously informed on matters of general interest; escalate issues when necessary; * Conduct training and capacity-building for personnel involved in production processes—covering existing and newly implemented lines; develop/evaluate technical specifications for acquiring new production equipment based on company criteria (product characteristics, legal and quality requirements, cost, expected productivity, etc.), thereby ensuring production capacity for launching new products and increasing output volumes; * Develop and monitor KPIs, reporting to Management and/or Executive Leadership; continually seek process updates and/or innovations to improve product quality, process efficiency, rationalization and utilization of resources, and cost reduction; * Participate in Internal, External, and Customer Audits to identify necessary changes or modifications enabling certification attainment; * Attend internal and external training sessions whenever directed or requested by immediate supervisors, aiming at professional and personal development through technical enhancement and updating; * Lead teams, supporting employee development; coordinate development of the annual production target plan to optimize available production resources; * Control department-wide production expenses (e.g., electricity, maintenance costs, consumables), contributing to cost reduction in these areas; cultivate an atmosphere of harmony, high motivation, and mutual respect among team members and across shifts; * Apply Six Sigma Lean, 5S, ESD, Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety concepts; * Ensure data entry into the shop-floor control system; * Assist in identifying high-, medium-, and low-performing employees; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Process Management, or related fields; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Prior experience in the field is desirable; * Flexibility regarding working hours; * Must reside in Manaus–AM region. **Additional Information** * Medical Plan * Dental Plan * Food Basket * Shuttle Transportation * Life Insurance * Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) With nearly half a century in the market, **Valgroup** has established itself as a benchmark in plastic production, processing, and recycling, with strategically located facilities across Brazil and worldwide.
