Production management with emphasis on quality and safety **Job Title** Production Leader **Department / Location** Production – Industrial Unit **Job Objective** Manage production line operations, ensuring achievement of volume, quality, and safety targets, and coordinate operator and technician teams to guarantee efficiency of Nortène Plásticos Ltda.'s production processes. **Main Responsibilities and Duties** Supervise and coordinate production operators, assistants, and technicians. Monitor adherence to the production plan, productivity indicators, and quality targets. Identify production bottlenecks and propose process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and proper use of PPE. Support machine downtime management, preventive and corrective maintenance in coordination with the maintenance team. Prepare and analyze production reports, loss tracking, and team performance metrics. Conduct internal training for operators and assistants to promote continuous skill development. Support implementation of continuous improvement projects and waste reduction initiatives. Communicate\-with supervision and other departments (maintenance, logistics, quality) to align production and resource planning. Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization in the production area (5S). **Requirements for Entry** Completed high school; technical education in Production, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields is preferred. Experience in plastic manufacturing industries. Prior experience in leading industrial production teams, preferably in plastics or industrial films. Knowledge of production processes, production indicators, and quality control. People management, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Availability to work rotating shifts or industrial schedules. **Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies** Team leadership and shift management. Planning and organization of production processes.
