And that is where you come in. **What You Will Do** * Enhance operational efficiency by reducing waste and refining processes to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and competitive costs in metal production; * Ensure raw materials, intermediate products, and final products meet defined standards and specifications; * Identify and eliminate root causes of process failures, providing technical support to production processes through preparation of technical documentation and operating procedures; monitor via analysis and documentation, collecting data and applying statistical and scientific methods to verify deviations from operational conditions and standards, followed by evaluation, to maintain appropriate operational conditions, achieve specified yields and quality; * Work on more complex projects or topics—including new processes, equipment, and/or machinery—with minimal coordination, preparing and reviewing technical documentation to support operations (e.g., equipment specifications and sizing, purchase requisitions), using received or developed information to meet technical requirements and support their development or implementation; * Register items in the SAP system; * Provide support in optimizing efficiency and resources, recommending changes and improvements to processes/equipment, analyzing and promoting improvements in work methods and other aspects of the process; * Optimize existing processes, monitor laboratory analyses and field tests, handle customer complaints, support operational training, act as a facilitator in transferring new processes to production; * Create and review operating procedures and experimental protocols based on developments and changes implemented, to keep them up to date; * Participate in investment planning, identifying new opportunities for equipment and automation within the production unit through feasibility studies and financial analyses of investment projects (payback) to assess savings generated by these projects; * Implement capex and opex projects using project management methodology within the business unit. **Who We Are Looking For** Bachelor’s degree completed in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. Intermediate English. AutoCAD MS Project Advanced Office Suite Statistical tools (Minitab, MATLAB) Experience in industrial processes, including metallurgical processes, casting, extrusion, wire drawing, heat treatment, and materials characterization. Experience in preparation, control, and documentation (QMS, process documents) and project implementation.
