And this is where you come in. **What You Will Do** * Increase operational efficiency by reducing waste and refining processes to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and competitive costs in metal production; * Ensure raw materials, intermediate, and final products meet established standards and specifications; * Identify and eliminate root causes of process failures, providing technical support to production processes through the development of technical documentation and operational procedures, monitoring via analysis and documentation, collecting data, and using statistical and scientific methods to verify deviations from operational conditions and standards, followed by evaluation, to maintain appropriate operational conditions and achieve specified yields and qualities; * Work on more complex projects or topics, such as new processes, equipment, and/or machinery, with minimal supervision, preparing and reviewing technical documentation to support operations (equipment specifications and sizing, purchase requisitions), using received or developed information to meet technical requirements, aiming at development or implementation; * Register items in the SAP system; * Support optimization of efficiency and resources by recommending changes and improvements in processes/equipment, analyzing and promoting improvements in work methods and other process aspects; * Optimize existing processes, monitor laboratory analyses and field tests, and customer complaints, support operational training, acting as a facilitator in transferring new processes to production; * Create and revise operational procedures and experimental protocols based on developments and changes made, keeping them up to date; * Participate in investment planning, seeking new opportunities for equipment and automation in the production sector through feasibility studies and financial analyses of project investments (payback) to assess savings generated by these projects; * Implement capex and opex projects using project management methodologies within the business unit. **Who We Are Looking For** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgical, Materials, Electrical, Production, or Chemical Engineering. Intermediate English proficiency. Autocad MSProject Advanced Office Suite Statistical tools (Minitab, Matlab) Experience in industrial processes, particularly metallurgical processes, foundry, extrusion, wire drawing, heat treatment, and material characterization. Experience in developing, controlling, and documenting processes (QMS, process documents) and implementing projects.
