Active registration with the Regional Council of Engineering. Proven experience as an Engineer. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Certifications in occupational safety, ISO 45001, or similar standards. Knowledge of risk analysis and accident prevention tools. Willingness to travel and stay, for a defined period, in other municipalities and states. Develop and implement technical procedures, deliver training sessions and lectures, prepare reports and technical opinions, and advise companies and employees on preventive practices. Contribute to process standardization, indicator monitoring, and continuous improvement, ensuring risk reduction and legal compliance. Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to adapt and install mechanical safeguards on machines and equipment, ensuring operational safety. Perform safety inspections at operational units to verify workplace safety conditions. Identify, assess, and propose corrective actions for risks associated with machines and equipment, ensuring compliance with NR-12. Interpret and apply NR-12 and complementary legislation to guide machine adaptation according to safety guidelines. Specify individual and collective protective equipment (PPE/CPE), standardizing models, sizes, and construction materials according to occupational risks. Define criteria for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), standardizing types based on occupational hazards present in each work environment. Develop technical and instructional materials for occupational safety training and lectures. Prepare corporate occupational health and safety manuals and procedures, aiming to standardize safe work practices. Deliver training sessions and lectures to SENAI staff, clients, and partner companies to guide them on safe work practices and how to reduce accidents involving machinery and equipment at construction sites. Monitor the activities of Internal Accident Prevention Committees (CIPAs) and Emergency Brigades, verifying compliance with responsibilities established under specific legislation. Assess and document work-related accidents and incidents, proposing technical and administrative measures to prevent recurrence. Prepare reports, technical opinions, and expert assessments to disseminate findings from conducted inspections. Provide technical/technological advisory services aimed at continuously improving safe operating environments and procedures. Advise employees on compliance with current labor legislation and safety regulations. Standardize processes, routines, and activities within your area to ensure consistency and compliance. Monitor progress toward departmental goals and outcomes through indicator-based management, evaluating results and proposing actions to achieve targets. Comply with organizational policies and standards, ensuring professional conduct aligns with applicable rules and regulations. Develop and maintain up-to-date procedural manuals and internal process documentation for your area of responsibility, ensuring traceability and quality.
