Apply now and join our selection process for Mechanical Maintenance Technician. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform **corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance** on industrial machining, stamping, and casting machines and equipment, ensuring asset availability, reliability, and safety; * Conduct **diagnosis of mechanical failures**, proposing rapid and effective technical solutions for equipment and their components (gearboxes, compressors, pumps, presses, CNCs, injection molding machines, etc.); * Accurately record daily work hours, service order execution details, and equipment failure analyses within maintenance management systems; * Perform maintenance on **high-pressure and low-pressure Toshiba injection molding machines**, as well as various machining equipment, ensuring optimal production process performance; * Carry out adjustments, calibrations, inspections, and replacement of mechanical components (pumps, valves, gearboxes, bearings, rolling elements, shafts, gears, etc.); * Prepare and update maintenance reports, checklists, and historical records using the maintenance management system (CMMS – SAP, Totvs, Maximo, TrackOS, or similar); * Develop mechanical maintenance procedures for machinery, maintenance instructions, and train and disseminate knowledge across the team; * Support implementation and continuous improvement of **TPM and reliability pillars** in the factory, acting as a "machine godfather" or production line godfather; * Suggest and implement continuous improvements to equipment and processes, aiming at **cost reduction and increased availability and safety**, including KYT (Kiken Yochi Training), with the objective of mitigating or eliminating health and safety risks inherent in routine activities; * Ensure compliance with **Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)** regulations, acting preventively and remedially; * Provide technical support and **mentor junior teams**, transferring maintenance knowledge and best practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. **Experience** * Minimum **4 years** of industrial mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in two-wheeler automotive, metalworking, plastics, injection molding, or high-performance production lines. * Knowledge of **TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)**, RCM, or reliability programs. * Knowledge of high-pressure and low-pressure injection molding machine maintenance, including failure diagnosis, calibration, and best practices for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. * Knowledge of small- and medium-sized machining equipment maintenance (lathes, grinders, milling machines, machining centers, etc.), including failure diagnosis, calibration, and best practices for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. **Tools and Software** * Familiarity with **Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)** such as SAP, Totvs, Maximo, Engeman, TracOS, or similar. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for generating maintenance reports and analyses. * Desired knowledge of vibration analysis and predictive condition monitoring software. **Certifications and Preferred Courses** * NR-12 (Machine and Equipment Safety). * TPM or Lean Manufacturing. * Vibration Analysis (ISO 18436). * Thermography applied to maintenance. * Predictive maintenance and reliability. **Technical Skills** * In-depth knowledge of lubrication, pneumatics, hydraulics, and interpretation of technical diagrams. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and manufacturer catalogs. * Knowledge of alignment, balancing, and/or adjustment of rotating machinery, machining centers, lathes, and high- and low-pressure injection molding machines; * Experience with measurement and analysis tools: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, vibration meters, thermography equipment, and others; **Behavioral Skills** * Analytical and problem-solving profile (using tools such as **Ishikawa, 5 Whys, 5W2H**). * Proactivity, systemic vision, and results orientation; * Ability to work in **multidisciplinary teams**, mentor junior technicians, and deliver specific micro-training sessions related to the maintenance field for junior technicians and production operators, promoting acquired TPM knowledge; * Commitment to **safety, quality, and reliability** of assets; * Adherence to the 11 safety principles during daily activities. **Additional Information** "YAMAHA Group operates its own channel for publishing job opportunities.
