We are looking for an **Environmental Engineer based in Manaus responsible for all environmental licensing, renewals, and compliance for 26 power plants across the interior of Amazonas** **Why Aggreko?** Here are some of the benefits and awards. * Comprehensive medical and dental plan covering dependents. * Flexible food allowance via Caju. * Private pension plan (optional). * Life insurance. * Wellhub (formerly Gympass). * Employee assistance program offering psychological, nutritional, legal, and financial support (at no cost). * Annual bonus plan tied to company performance goals. * Safety-focused culture. **Your Responsibilities:** * Manage contracts related to waste management and environmental services; * Prepare expense forecasts and budgets for the department; * Administer Operating Licenses (LOs) and notifications submitted to IPAAM; * Conduct on-site training sessions, inspections, and audits at power plants; * Support hybridization and decarbonization projects for PIE (Independent Power Producer) power plants; * Develop environmental awareness campaigns. **Required Skills and Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering; * Experience with environmental licensing for thermal or solar power plants; * Active registration with CREA, eligible to sign documents and ARTs; * Full-time on-site work required at the Manaus office; * Availability for technical visits to power plants across the interior of Amazonas; * English and Spanish are desirable.
