Eneva in **Silves - AM** wants you on the team! #JoinEneva If you want to work as a **Control Room Operator II**, we have a new challenge for you! **Key Responsibilities:** The Level II Operator (Control Room Function) is responsible for monitoring and operating thermal power plant systems from the control room, using human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and control systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA). With solid theoretical knowledge and supervised practical experience, independently execute operational tasks, manage alarms, perform basic troubleshooting, and collaborate with field teams to ensure safe and efficient power generation. This position requires greater independence and real-time analytical capability. * **Continuously monitor process variables (pressure, temperature, level, flow, etc.) via control systems, analyzing P&IDs and critical operating instructions to identify deviations.** * **Independently execute start-up, shutdown, and equipment maneuvering procedures from the control room, adjusting control logic under occasional supervision.** * **Manage alarms, perform basic troubleshooting and logical block simulations, proposing initial corrective actions for anomalies in systems such as turbo-generators, boilers, and water/steam systems.** * **Communicate effectively—verbally and in writing—with field teams, supervisors, and external entities, recording operational information in systems (e.g., Redmine, Sysop).** * **Support execution of pre-operation, real-time, and post-operation procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols.** * **Collaborate in system performance analysis and resolution of operational issues, escalating complex situations when necessary.** * **Ensure compliance with environmental conditions, permits, and monitoring requirements, recording data and contributing to corrective actions.** * **Guide Level I operators in monitoring and operational tasks, sharing foundational knowledge.** **To apply, you must have:** . Competency Requirements: * Advanced Technical Education: Proficiency in basic automation, industrial equipment (valves, pumps, fans, compressors, heat exchangers, instrumentation), and control systems. * Experience in industrial operations or thermal power plants, preferably as a Level II Operator (Control Room Function) or equivalent. * Intermediate knowledge of control systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA, PCS7) and ability to read P&IDs. * Technical degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Processes. * Valid CFT (Technical Safety Certificate) * Familiarity with operational logging and data analysis tools (e.g., Redmine, Sysop, OSI-PI). * Familiarity with the energy market and interactions with the National Electric System Operator (ONS) (advantageous). * Availability for shift work, including on-call schedules and emergency response. **Work Location**: Silves-AM **Learn more about us at:** www.eneva.com.br. **Eneva is a serious company committed to transparency in its selection processes and does not request any payments during recruitment.** **Join our team!
