The professional will be involved end-to-end—from conception to field validation—ensuring robustness, manufacturability, and integration with industrial systems. They will work on multiple projects simultaneously, varying in complexity. **Education** Mechanical Engineering or related fields **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop mechanical designs for machines, devices, and industrial systems * Model and detail solutions using 3D CAD and technical drawings * Perform mechanical sizing (loads, tolerances, fits, and fastenings) * Specify materials, manufacturing processes, and structural solutions * Design structures, supports, mechanisms, and integrations with automation * Oversee prototype manufacturing, assembly, and validation * Work on the factory floor to adjust and improve solutions * Conduct failure analysis and design improvements * Ensure compliance with safety requirements and technical standards * Prepare technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, specifications, and reports) * Interface with suppliers and technical clients **Technical Qualifications** **Mechanical Design** * Experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, or similar) * Ability to read and create technical drawings (ISO/ABNT standards) * Knowledge of mechanical tolerances and fits (GD\&T) * Sizing of mechanical components and assemblies **Manufacturing Processes** * Machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly * Industrial processes (plastic injection, stamping, cutting, bending) * Concepts of DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) **Automation Integration** * Interface with actuators (pneumatic, electric, servo) * Integration with sensors and automated systems * Basic understanding of machine and industrial line layouts **Analysis and Engineering** * Knowledge of structural analysis (FEA) * Familiarity with vibration and fatigue concepts applied to design **Experience** * Proven experience in industrial mechanical design projects * Participation in the development of machines, devices, or automated lines * Hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly environments
