Umicore specializes in developing products and processes based on precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum. These materials enable our customers to produce fine jewelry components, coins, high-purity glass, and industrial catalysts. Umicore also enables sustainable and responsible supply of these metals by offering closed-loop recycling solutions to our customers. To fully leverage these materials, we cannot remain static. We must find new ways of working, discover new solutions, and develop new processes. And this is where you come in. **What You Will Do** Provide technical support to business units in implementing, controlling, and monitoring product and process quality requirements, customer requirements, application, and training on quality tools; perform technical analysis of internal and customer failures/issues (complaints), manage non-conformities with suppliers (domestic and international), prepare technical reports, and monitor, analyze, and propose corrective and/or improvement actions for products and processes to ensure compliance with organizational/customer quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include: * Raw material receipt (analysis of supplier certificates, SAP releases, communication with suppliers); * Preparation and revision of product Control Plans according to Engineering specifications (SAP); * Implementation of quality tools such as: PPAP, FMEA, SPC, R\&R studies, and others; * Development of Inspection Plans for products across various production areas; * Ensure that quality requirements, especially those defined by customers, are known, understood, and aligned across all operational areas; * Customer Complaint Management; * Technical failure/non-conformance analysis in collaboration with Engineering and Production; * Preparation of general technical reports, complaint reports, and others; * Conduct second-party audits at critical suppliers; * Develop solutions through experimental studies and measurements to ensure full execution and process optimization; * Monitoring and technical support to processes across various BUs; * Implementation and management of SPC (Statistical Process Control); * Identification of process improvement opportunities focused on customer satisfaction, cost reduction, product quality excellence, etc. (form cross-functional improvement teams, plan, coordinate, implement, and report results); * Technical support for process quality audits (direct support to technicians, preparation and review of instructions and checklists, support in addressing identified failures, follow-up actions with relevant parties, etc.); * Handling of raw material non-conformities; * Management of derogations, submission to customers, internal communication, releases, etc.; * Delivery of technical quality trainings (capability building, awareness, and dissemination of quality culture); * Customer documentation/requests (related to products); * Monthly update of customer complaint indicators; * Control, segregation, and monitoring of non-conforming materials and products; * Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. **Who We Are Looking For** Bachelor's degree completed: Engineering, Technologist in Quality Management, or related fields. Postgraduate degree in Production Engineering, Quality, or related fields is desirable; Intermediate level English (conversation and writing); Experience in metallurgical and/or chemical processes; Experience in customer feedback handling; Experience in problem resolution with suppliers; Experience in compliance routines and audits; Quality Auditor and/or QMS training, 5S Program, Quality Tools: Training Facilitator, Metrology, FMEA/Control Plan, SPC. **Desirable Differentiators:** Advanced Excel or Power BI; SAP system; Lead Auditor certification; ISO 9001; Metrological reliability; PPAP; R\&R. **What We Offer** Our goal is to lead the way—not only for our customers but also for our employees.
