Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for developing and optimizing welding processes, qualifying welders, and ensuring compliance and quality in manufacturing. Key Highlights: 1. Development and optimization of welding processes. 2. Welder qualification and training. 3. Manufacturing process audit and analysis. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** – Develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS); – Assist in product specifications regarding welding requirements; – Qualify welders according to internal procedures; – Train and guide welders on welding techniques, drawing interpretation, and welding symbols; – Conduct manufacturing process audits to verify compliance of methods and equipment used, and inspect welds according to project specifications; – Analyze manufacturing techniques (method, work procedure, machines, equipment, tools, activity time, raw material and consumable usage) to validate and/or improve them; – Develop fabrication processes, verifying materials, weldability, heat treatment, and weld traceability; – Program welding robots; – Calculate welding process costs; – Prepare inspection reports for processes and approval reports for new products. **REQUIREMENTS:** – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering — completed or final semesters underway; – Knowledge of ISO 3834 and ISO 14731; – Knowledge of Quality Management per ISO 9001 **WORK SCHEDULE:** Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, except Friday (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM). **BENEFITS:** – Transportation allowance (VT); – On-site cafeteria; – Health and dental plan (Unimed); – Life insurance; – Attendance bonus; – Profit-sharing program (PLR) Register your resume at buscarvagas.com.br and stay updated on the best opportunities.
