Role Objectives: Strategically and operationally ensure the quality of software products developed by the company, guaranteeing that deliverables meet functional, technical, and business requirements. Structure and consolidate the Quality area within the Development squad, proactively identifying defects and inconsistencies relative to demand requirements, elevating delivery reliability, reducing rework, and promoting continuous evolution of testing processes throughout the development lifecycle. **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ KEY COMPETENCIES Software Testing and Quality Skills: Solid experience in manual exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing. Knowledge of test and defect management tools (Jira, Xray, TestRail or similar). Practical experience or knowledge of API test automation (Postman, RestAssured) and/or web interface test automation (Selenium, Cypress). Knowledge of MySQL for data validation. Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Ability to critically analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. Identification of risks, failure points, and critical system usage scenarios. Definition of risk-based, impact-based, and criticality-based test strategies. Root cause analysis of defects and proposal of preventive actions. Communication and Collaboration Skills: Clear and objective communication for reporting defects, discussing acceptance criteria, and communicating quality status. Close collaboration with developers throughout the entire bug lifecycle (reporting, diagnosis, correction, and validation). Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios and cases. Active participation in team ceremonies, contributing the quality perspective. Behavioral Skills: Quality-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Quality Management and Support: Analyze development requests, fixes, and improvements, identifying ambiguities, risks, dependencies, and impacts on delivery quality. Support definition and review of acceptance criteria from a quality perspective and alignment with functional and technical requirements. Create, organize, and maintain up-to-date test cases in the tools adopted by the team, ensuring traceability and standardization. Support production incident and bug resolution by analyzing each occurrence, assisting in diagnosis, and properly reporting issues to prioritize and assign corrections to the responsible team. Test Planning and Execution: Plan and execute manual tests according to the scope of each delivery or development cycle. Perform exploratory testing to identify unforeseen scenarios and potential usage risks. Report defects clearly, objectively, and consistently, ensuring easy reproduction by the Development team. Define and maintain bug handling workflows, including identification, versioning, correction, and validation stages. Version test scenarios and use cases, ensuring traceability among requirements, defects, and fixes. Document evidence of executed tests (screenshots, logs, videos, or reports), ensuring history and support for validations. Validate corrections implemented by developers, ensuring the defect is resolved without impacting existing functionality. Technical and Functional Alignment: Clearly distinguish expected behavior (requirement) from observed behavior (defect). Collaborate with the Development team to understand solution architecture and flow. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate completed deliveries and validations to the Product Owner, Systems Analyst, and Marketing teams, supporting control and updating of system versions. Participate in demos and delivery reviews, contributing quality feedback. Participate in analysis of production incidents and bugs, supporting mapping of recurring bugs and proposing continuous improvements to software quality.
