Opportunity to develop technical skills in an innovative environment The **Computer Laboratory Assistant** provides technical and operational support to students and faculty, ensuring proper use of computer resources and optimal laboratory functionality. Their primary challenge is maintaining service excellence and equipment operation, guaranteeing quality and efficiency in all activities. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support faculty in operational procedures by providing assistance with computer resources to ensure optimal conditions for laboratory classes. * Assist laboratory users with computer resources, addressing needs from students, faculty, and external visitors. * Support administrative routines, contributing to agility and efficiency in departmental processes. * Ensure laboratory maintenance, reporting maintenance and repair requirements to responsible departments. * Assist in configuring and using technological resources in administrative spaces and specialized classrooms. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education. * Basic computer knowledge, including essential operations and Microsoft Office suite. * Familiarity with corporate systems and digital platforms supporting administrative routines. * Knowledge of hardware and software is desirable. * Ongoing or completed technical course in Computer Science or related fields will be considered an advantage. **Desired Skills and Competencies:** * Resilience; * Systems thinking; * Organization; * Strong communication skills; * Proactivity; * Interest in technical development; * “Spark in the eyes” (self-motivation and genuine interest). **Additional Information** **Schedule:** Monday to Friday \| 12:52 PM to 10:40 PM **Benefits:** * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Daycare reimbursement for children up to 4 years old * Education assistance: up to 80% of undergraduate tuition fees and 50% of postgraduate tuition fees * Free parking * Supplementary private pension plan * Year-end recess *If you believe education transforms lives and are motivated by challenges*, ***JOIN PUCRS!*** At PUCRS, we believe every person can transform the world—and that belief drives us daily to become everything we can be.
