Plan, organize, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing services; 2\. Develop work schedules and time-off rosters for nursing staff; 3\. Record observations and analyze care and procedures delivered by the nursing team; 4\. Standardize nursing protocols and procedures and monitor workflow processes; 5\. Implement actions and define strategies for health promotion within one’s area of expertise and professional training, collaborating with the team; 6\. Participate, per institutional internal policy, in projects, courses, committees, events, and training sessions; 7\. Assume responsibility for direct life-threatening nursing care; 8\. Provide high-complexity nursing care (e.g., catheterizations, etc.) requiring scientific knowledge and immediate decision-making; 9\. Act in prevention and control of infections and communicable diseases in general; 10\. Accompany patients as needed during examinations and surgical procedures; 11\. Operate and assume responsibility for the Central Sterile Supply Department (CME); 12\. Act in prevention and control of harm potentially caused during care delivery; 13\. Provide guidance and evaluation of health-related actions for the team; 14\. Coordinate actions with other healthcare professionals; 15\. Design effective interventions for each surgical center process implementation; 16\. Interact correctly and appropriately with patients, respecting their individual characteristics; 17\. Scientific and technical knowledge related to surgical practices performed at the clinic; 18\. Develop, implement, and test Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); 19\. Train nursing staff, enabling them to deliver care with sensitivity, safety, maturity, and responsibility; 20\. Implement the Nursing Care Systematization (SAE); 21\. Make the care, service delivery, and assistance process more humanized, welcoming, evaluative, and holistic, aiming to improve patient care; 22\. Manage inventory and storage of materials and medications through digital systems; 23\. Conduct quotations, negotiations, and purchases of all supplies (materials and medications) used in the surgical center and examinations; 24\. Request purchase of LIOs (intraocular lenses), according to diopter and physician’s request; 25\. Maintain equipment in optimal working condition; 26\. Participate in procurement processes for materials used by nursing staff; 27\. Work in accordance with technical standards for safety, quality, productivity, hygiene, and environmental preservation; 28\. Responsible for Healthcare Waste Management, including implementation and training of every team member; 29\. Plan nursing actions, identify needs and problems, establish priorities, and evaluate outcomes; 30\. Perform tasks relevant to one’s field using computers and software applications; 31\. Perform other duties compatible with job requirements. 32\. Develop and conduct monthly training sessions for the team; 33\. Monitor surgical costs; 34\. Monitor surgical volume (planned vs. performed cases); 35\. Verify pre-surgical schedule; 36\. Verify intraocular lenses, materials, and medications used in scheduled surgeries; 37\. Weekly team meetings for motivation (summarizing weekly positive and negative points); 38\. Schedule management, workload assessment, and staff shift organization; 39\. Surgical scheduling; 40\. Maintain good, courteous relations with medical staff; 41\. Minimize delays and demands from surgical teams; 42\. Implement nursing systematization and surgical documentation into the system. Requirements \- Experience in this field is preferred.
