Prepare parts for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and fitting. Select the appropriate welding equipment and welding materials. Perform welds according to established procedures and quality standards. Inspect and test welds to ensure integrity and strength. Previous experience as an Assembler, Welding Operator, Welding Technician, or Metalworker may indicate suitability for some activities of this position. High school diploma required.
