Register now and join our team! **Responsibilities and duties** As a **Mechanical Technician**, you will: * Inspect Fire Protection and Suppression Systems (FPSS); * Check column and wall hydrants; * Evaluate integrity of hoses, nozzles, and valves; * Verify cabinets, covers, seals, and identification; * Test valves and flow rate where applicable; * Assess system pressurization and return. * Individually inspect sprinklers for paint condition, obstructions, corrosion, and missing nozzles. * Verify pressure, INMETRO seal and tamper-evident seal on fire extinguishers; * Check mounting brackets and fixation; * Validate accessibility and signage. * Identify failures, propose solutions, and recommend adjustments. * Prepare detailed technical reports listing irregularities and recommendations. * Use digital tools for control and documentation: o Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). o SAP system for creating work orders, labor allocation, backlog review, attaching OM’s and reports. * Define deadlines for corrections and monitor implementation of adjustments. **Requirements and qualifications** Required education: * Technical course in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
