Requirements: The ***Engineering*** team is responsible ***for developing, evolving, and sustaining the systems that support our products, with a focus on quality, stability, and continuous improvement***, and is seeking a ***Mid-Level Software Engineer*** **| Java** to join our team at Brazil’s largest software development company focused on financial-market products — where we believe technological innovation inspires progress. **This role will be responsible for:** * Implementing (developing and maintaining) Java-based systems, including legacy systems; * Developing MS SQL Server database scripts required for system enhancements and fixes; * Participating in alignment meetings, development environment setup, and documentation; * Writing clean, efficient, and high-quality code to meet project requirements; * Collaborating with the development team to plan and execute tasks; * Participating in team meetings to discuss project progress and identify potential issues; * Staying up to date with the team’s best practices and software development trends; * Documenting code, test evidence, and relevant processes to facilitate future maintenance; * Developing and executing unit and integration tests to ensure quality and adherence to acceptance criteria. **To be a \#match, this position requires the following mandatory qualifications:** * Completed undergraduate degree; * Solid experience in system development; * Experience developing web applications in Java and MS SQL Server databases; * Experience working with legacy systems and software evolution; * Familiarity with automated testing and software development best practices; * Experience working in agile teams. **Additional knowledge or experience below would be considered a plus:** * Experience or interest in the financial sector; * Experience developing with Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE; * Experience with Angular.
