Job Summary: We are seeking a controller professional to work on budget preparation and monitoring, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and process improvement—impacting thousands of users. Work with a holistic mindset, influence capability, and solution-oriented focus * Our team comprises outstanding technology professionals. * Collaboration and commitment are part of our daily routine as we develop new features and build a robust, scalable product. * As part of our team, your work will impact thousands of users from some of the largest companies in the country who rely on our solution daily. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Prepare and monitor the annual Budget and Rolling Forecast, analyzing variances (Budget vs. Actual), with emphasis on Headcount and infrastructure cost deviations. * Variance Analysis (Actual vs. Budget): Investigate root causes of revenue and expense variances, proposing corrective action plans jointly with cost center managers. * Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) * Ensure revenue recognition complies with IFRS 15 / CPC 47, especially for complex implementation + subscription contracts. * Process Improvement: Automate financial routines and integrate data across company systems and the ERP. * Monthly Closing: Support accounting in managerial closing, ensuring provisions and allocations reflect economic reality. * Strategic Dashboards: Develop and maintain performance indicators (KPIs) in BI tools, focusing on metrics such as EBITDA, Contribution Margin, ROIC, and Cash Conversion Cycle. * Reporting Package: Prepare reports for headquarters or investors, ensuring compliance with international standards (IFRS/USGAAP). * Margin Analysis: Assess profitability by product, channel, or customer, identifying operational bottlenecks. * Expense Control: Monitor SG&A (Selling, General and Administrative Expenses) and seek opportunities to optimize fixed and variable costs. * Risk Management: Identify process gaps that may lead to financial losses or tax penalties. * Audits: Serve as the focal point for external and internal audits, ensuring adherence to company policies. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Holistic Mindset: Understand how operational changes affect final cash flow. * Influence Capability: Persuade managers from other areas about the need for budget cuts or adjustments without generating unproductive conflicts. * Solution-Oriented Focus: Not only identify errors in the P&L but also present three ready-to-discuss solution scenarios. * Business Partnering: Bridge finance and technical domains—explaining accounting concepts to developers and product managers. * Analytical and Critical Thinking: Go beyond reporting numbers; question the "why" behind variances. * Adaptability: Resilience to operate in an environment of constantly shifting priorities and evolving processes. * Owner Mindset: Proactively identify cost-reduction opportunities or margin improvements without being prompted. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Business Administration, or Economics * Postgraduate degree in Controller or Finance is essential. * Experience in controller or audit roles (Big Four experience is highly valued). * Accounting: Proficiency in IFRS and Brazilian accounting standards (CPC). * Tools: * Excel: Expert level (Power Query, macros, complex financial modeling). * ERP: Experience with robust systems (NetSuite, SAP, Totvs, or Oracle). * BI & Data: Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
