Provide customer service. Verify equipment check\-lists. Maintain organization of laboratories and cabinets where customers' equipment is stored. Conduct preventive maintenance and intermediate checks of standards and equipment. Enter and verify issued certificates. Ensure maintenance, cleaning, preservation, storage, and control of all materials, instruments, equipment, and work area. Participate in training programs when requested. Perform external services when requested. Participate in inter-laboratory comparisons and proficiency testing. Respond to customer requests and inform customers of any discrepancies arising during laboratory activities. Monitor environmental conditions. Verify the calibration service completion check\-list to ensure no accessories sent by the customer are left behind, conducting rigorous verification. Previous experience as an Electroelectronics Technician, Electronic Maintenance Technician, Automation Technician, or Telecommunications Technician may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position.
