We seek a **VMware** specialist to drive **VMware environment rationalization**, ensuring operational efficiency, strategic alignment, and infrastructure evolution toward the cloud, with strong collaboration between technical teams and business units. This role plays a key part in **VMware architecture, engineering, and operations**, as well as **integration with Azure Compute**, leading initiatives for **VM migration, modernization, or decommissioning**, always aligned with business objectives and agreed SLAs.### **Responsibilities** * Serve as the technical reference for **VMware Architecture and Engineering**, supporting strategic infrastructure decisions. * Lead **VMware footprint rationalization**, identifying opportunities for migration, consolidation, or deactivation of environments. * Collaborate closely with **Cloud (Azure Compute)** teams to support modernization and migration journeys. * Ensure production systems remain available and operate per defined **SLAs**. * Manage incidents and outages, ensuring **clear and timely communication** with stakeholders. * Support **disaster recovery processes**, ensuring continuity of critical operations. * Maintain **data retention and protection practices**, compliant with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. * Work closely with client-facing business units and technical teams to foster **alignment, engagement, and joint decision-making**. * Prepare and present **executive status reports**, including risks and progress on initiatives. ### **Requirements** * Solid experience in **IT Infrastructure Operations**. * Advanced proficiency in **VMware** (architecture, engineering, and operations). * Experience with **public cloud environments**, especially **Microsoft Azure (Compute)**. * Minimum of **4 years** of experience in similar roles. * Completed undergraduate degree in a technology-related field. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Knowledge of **Enterprise Cloud Architecture**. * Intermediate experience in **resolving complex problems**. * Strong **communication and stakeholder management skills**. * Experience in **project coordination**. * Analytical mindset, with systemic vision and continuous improvement focus. ### **Benefits** * Health insurance – extendable to dependents * Dental insurance – extendable to dependents* * Life insurance * Private pension plan * Meal allowance (value varies by region)* * Commuting allowance / Parking assistance / Shuttled transport (for on-site work)* * Gympass* * Career development plan* * Profit-sharing program (PPR) We seek candidates aligned with our company values and enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, dynamic environment with excellence in delivery and daily innovation.
