Job Summary: Supervise operational activities, coordinate teams and resources to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient execution of production processes, identify improvements, and ensure compliance. Act preventively on failures and optimize processes Supervise the unit's operational activities, coordinating teams and resources to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient execution of production processes. Identify deviations and improvement opportunities, implement preventive and corrective actions, ensure adherence to internal procedures, technical standards, environmental and safety requirements, and maintain appropriate communication flow between control room, field, and plant leadership. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Work Position: Waste\-to\-Energy** * Supervise the plant's operational routines during the shift, monitoring activities in the control room and field, to ensure the process is executed safely, continuously, and within established technical standards. * Coordinate the integrated operation of thermal, environmental, and utility systems, aligning information among operators and assistants to maintain balance among combustion, steam generation, environmental control, and plant demand. * Ensure combustion stability and thermal performance by monitoring critical indicators and directing process adjustments to guarantee operational efficiency of the unit. * Supervise furnace, heat recovery boiler, and auxiliary systems operation, monitoring operating parameters and conditions to prevent failures and keep the process within predefined margins. * Monitor the flue gas treatment system and environmental controls, verifying performance and operational compliance to meet legal requirements and internal standards. * Supervise cooling systems, water island, and utilities, evaluating local conditions and process indicators to ensure adequate support for thermal systems. * Monitor operational parameters via DCS, analyzing trends and cross-referencing with field reports to anticipate deviations and ensure process control. * Guide field operators and control room operators, providing technical direction and task distribution to ensure alignment with unit routines. * Make operational decisions in response to deviations, assessing impacts and mobilizing the team as needed to restore normal operating conditions safely. * Ensure effective communication among shift teams, centralizing information and delivering clear instructions to maintain operational alignment and process continuity. * Ensure adherence to procedures and technical standards by monitoring execution and correcting deviations to guarantee operational discipline and compliance. * Act preventively on failures by monitoring process signals and intervening before they affect operations to avoid interruptions and incidents. * Report critical occurrences to unit management, detailing impacts and measures taken to support higher-level decision-making. * Record operational information and shift occurrences, updating internal systems and reports to ensure traceability and continuity during shift handovers. **DETAILED DESCRIPTION (main responsibilities):** * Comply with policies, procedures, and standards established by the specific management system, using preventive equipment, observing regulatory norms and procedures, reporting deviations, and proposing corrections for unsafe acts, thereby contributing to the implementation and maintenance of normative, legal, and regulatory requirements governing the \*SGI; * Participate in internal events, campaigns, and training related to the \*SGI; * Perform other related tasks as directed and requested by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Minimum Education:** * Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in Engineering, Business Administration, Production Management, or related fields is desirable. **Technical Competencies:** * Advanced Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). **Behavioral Profile (Skills and Attitudes)** * Planning and organizational skills, discernment, agility, and strong interpersonal relationship abilities. * Communicative profile, persuasive ability, resilience, and people management skills. **Prior Experience:** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in roles such as Team Leader or Area Supervisor in production environments is desirable. * In the absence of the minimum education requirement, relevant experience must exceed 5 years in the roles described in the preceding paragraph. **Teams and Hierarchical Reporting:** * Reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the production team. **Specific Conditions:** * Works internally or externally (field, operational environment, etc.), potentially performing duties during adverse hours to support the work team. **Additional Information** * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Gym allowance * Pharmacy allowance * Christmas basket * Life insurance * Meal voucher * Transportation voucher #### **Transformation is part of human essence.** #### **Every evolutionary process is driven by change.
