Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating and optimizing plastic injection processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, as well as training operators. Team development and training **Key Responsibilities** * Start injection molding machines at the beginning of each shift, ensuring parts meet the standard sample specifications; continuously monitor production to guarantee both quality and adherence to the Production Control Plan (PCP) schedule; * Comprehensive knowledge of Hatian, Chesong, Sandreto, and Romi injection molding machines; * Ability to perform trial runs (Try Out), validate processes, and prepare technical parameter sheets for injection molding; * Provide training to production operators; * Maintain and/or continuously improve processes, always following continuous improvement guidelines and obtaining approval from the immediate supervisor; * Develop process improvements aimed at reducing costs and enhancing product and process quality; * Achieve production, quality, and cost performance indicators; * Collaborate with production leadership; * Participate in preventive maintenance planning for molds and plastic injection molding machines; * Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental procedures; * Participate in audits (internal, external, and customer audits); * Be responsible for monitoring production records, as well as receiving and inspecting parts and components supplied by internal supplier departments according to updated technical specifications; * Be responsible for meeting production order deadlines and reporting resource shortages (personnel and materials); **Requirements** * Technical course in plastics (specialized courses will be considered an advantage); * English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking; * Proven experience in plastic injection (knowledge of Haitian, Sandreto, Romi, and Chen Hsong machines is an advantage); * Practical experience and knowledge of Wittmann and StarSeike robots; * Knowledge of injection molds; * Preventive maintenance of molds, injection molding machines, and equipment; * Knowledge of metrology; * Leadership skills for conducting training and leading continuous improvement initiatives with production operators; * Knowledge of production methods related to the injection molding process and equipment; * Knowledge and experience with production process documentation (APQP – PPAP, flowcharts, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions); * Experience with trial runs (try-outs) and process validation; * Familiarity with problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, MASP); * Experience in programming and adjusting injection molding machines; * Experience with polyamide raw materials (PA6, PA66, PC+ABS, POM, PP, PBT, TPU); * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office suite); * Knowledge of hot runner systems; * Understanding of Automotive Quality Management System requirements (IATF 16949); * Analytical and decision-making capability; * Strategic vision; * Strong communication skills; * Interpersonal skills; * Ability to handle risk situations; * Interest in and proficiency with basic mathematics; **Desirable** * Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; * Experience with polyamide reprocessing (grinding, dosing, validation testing, etc.); * Knowledge of injection molding machine maintenance; * Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools.
