Job Summary: A Proposal Engineering professional will be responsible for technical analysis, development of improvements, resolution of customer requirements, and preparation of competitive proposals for clients. If yes, this is your opportunity! **As a Proposal Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:** * Participating in projects requiring specific technical expertise, performing analyses, developing improvements, and resolving requirements. * Preparing and commenting on preliminary Technical Specifications during business development. * Evaluating project requests and requirements, understanding customer expectations, and proposing competitive solutions. * Performing calculations, preparing material lists and component shipping documentation, and drafting technical specifications for inquiries and quotations. * Preparing budgets with manufacturing plants, estimating equipment costs, and supporting the Field Service team. * Assessing technical and cost-related risks and opportunities, mapping competitors’ solutions, and monitoring market trends. **We expect you to have the following qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. **We seek candidates with the following technical skills:** * Advanced English; * Spanish – desirable; * Advanced Microsoft Office suite; * Tools for product calculation, selection, and sizing.
