Description:
We are seeking professionals who meet the following requirements:
* Completed high school education;
* Completed technical course in Occupational Safety;
* Professional registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment;
* Professional experience in the field of Occupational Safety;
* Experience in industrial safety processes;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Intermediate Excel;
* Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus;
* Experience in safety campaigns; CIPA election process; implementation of programs such as PGR (Risk Management Program), PPR (Occupational Health Program), PCA (Environmental Risk Prevention Program); execution of NR-12 HRN projects and machine/equipment compliance; incident investigation using Ishikawa, 5 Whys, 5W3H, and Cause Tree methodologies; development of ergonomic programs; training management and PPP (Individual Occupational Profile) preparation;
* English and Spanish proficiency will be considered a plus.
Please review the main day-to-day responsibilities for this position:
* Manage service providers, ensuring their integration, document updates, and safety training for task execution;
* Manage the established training matrix in compliance with legal requirements and risks identified in industrial processes and task execution;
* Monitor the implementation of the Risk Management Program (PGR) action plan;
* Develop work plans and monitor safety and occupational health goals, indicators, and results;
* Provide technical responsibility for guidance regarding compliance with applicable regulatory standards governing the organization's activities;
* Monitor and participate in activities of the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO), per Regulatory Standard No. 07 (NR-07);
* Manage risks associated with production machinery and equipment, electrical hazards, explosion and implosion risks;
* Manage high-risk activities in confined spaces and at heights;
* Conduct ergonomic management of layout, processes, and tasks;
* Manage safety and communication programs, respiratory protection, and hearing conservation;
* Manage inspections of emergency equipment and fire prevention systems;
* Share relevant information for accident and work-related disease prevention with other SESMT teams within the same organization, as well as with CIPA upon request;
* Perform general administrative tasks, including budgeting, requisitions, purchase orders, material receipt, and invoice entry into the system;
* Promote worker orientation, information dissemination, and awareness-raising activities for accident and work-related disease prevention;
* Immediately propose suspension of activities and adoption of corrective and/or control measures upon identifying work conditions or situations associated with serious and imminent risk;
* Lead or support investigations of accidents and work-related diseases, in accordance with the PGR;
* Maintain risk management systems, such as the PGR (Risk Management Program), action tracking system, accident performance metrics, safety performance indicators, among others.
