Packaging Operator

Job Summary: This professional will be responsible for operating packaging machines, monitoring process parameters and performance indicators, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring area organization and cleanliness, always adhering to the company's safety and quality standards. Participate in autonomous maintenance and propose improvements Perform duties in accordance with the Company's policies on Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality. \- Operate packaging machines \- Work according to the organizational structure of your work area – mentoring people and equipment. \- Monitor process control parameters according to established checklist procedures, and apply corrective and/or preventive actions when necessary. \- Monitor performance indicators for your work area related to productivity, quality, safety, costs, etc. \- Monitor and participate in the progression of Autonomous Maintenance stages relevant to your operational lines (e.g., improvement suggestions, developing LPP training materials, issuing anomaly labels — red, blue, yellow, green, etc.). \- Execute inspection and equipment cleaning plans per established standards. \- Update and monitor the performance indicator management board for your area of operation. \- Perform certain corrective and preventive maintenance tasks within your area (e.g., replacing belts, suction cups, grippers, BF cartridge filters). \- Maintain area organization and cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles. \- Monitor daily and weekly production scheduling with a focus on opportunity stoppages to enable minor preventive maintenance tasks. \- Ensure completion of records for your area of operation. \- Ensure identification and proper disposal of waste generated in the area. \- Participate in daily/weekly meetings (GGA), focusing on your area and responsibilities. \- Monitor usage and condition of your PPE. \- Plan and execute format changes on your production lines using SMED methodology to reduce changeover time. \- Participate in failure analysis jointly with the maintenance team when requested. \- Ensure loss report generation, monitor analysis, and action plan implementation. \- Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
