**Job Mission:**
Implement the policy and plans for inspection and integrity assessment of steam boilers, pressure vessels, their connecting piping and metallic storage tanks regarding installation, inspection, operation and maintenance aspects, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements, as well as the Company's policies and guidelines, to maximize the useful life of these assets while meeting cost, productivity, quality, safety objectives and environmental preservation.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Plan and supervise inspection programs for steam boilers, pressure vessels, piping and metallic tanks, ensuring compliance with ANP requirements, standards and operational objectives;
* Keep departments informed about inspection programs, types, frequency and results, analyzing performance indicators to monitor equipment condition;
* Record and analyze inspection results, modifications and repairs, maintaining updated and traceable records including equipment dossiers, safety records and data books;
* Identify, propose and incorporate new technologies to optimize costs, enhance prevention and monitor deterioration;
* Prepare budgets for training, equipment and inspection services;
* Conduct critical analyses and recommend actions to optimize technical and economic resources;
* Maintain proper calibration of equipment and ensure its preservation;
* Perform or ensure necessary tests to evaluate equipment integrity;
* Coordinate internal or external audits to ensure compliance with strategies, policies and regulations;
* Prepare technical scopes of work for procurement bids, service contracts or specialized inspection studies;
* Develop modification proposals together with equipment design responsible parties, aiming to prevent or mitigate deterioration processes;
* Generate and analyze performance indicators for inspection management and implementation of maintenance recommendations, identifying improvement opportunities to optimize operational resources;
* Commit to continuous improvement of business performance, Safety, Health, Environment and Sustainability. Always act in accordance with the SSMS Management System;
* Perform other responsibilities compatible with the nature of the position at the immediate manager's discretion.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree completed in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Mechanical Engineering;
* Legally Qualified Professional (PLH) in accordance with current professional regulations in the country. Normative Decision No. 45 of 12/16/1992 from CONFEA;
* Areas of knowledge: Mechanical integrity; NDT, Welding, Applicable codes and standards, Brazilian technical standards, Regulations and standards applicable by the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP).
