Intern - Chemotherapy Nursing
The undergraduate Nursing intern supports the nursing team by performing supervised practical activities across various clinical departments of the institution. The internship aims to foster technical-scientific and ethical-professional learning through hands-on experience in clinical and administrative processes, in accordance with current legislation and institutional guidelines.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Consolidate, through observation and supervised practice, knowledge acquired throughout the undergraduate program;
* Complement professional training by applying theoretical knowledge in outpatient and hospital settings;
* Provide exposure to real-world professional practice, promoting familiarity with the work environment and nursing routines;
* Establish effective interaction between the academic institution and internship sites, contributing to continuous curriculum improvement;
* Encourage analysis and application of new technologies, methodologies, and models of healthcare work organization;
* Integrate essential knowledge, skills, competencies, and values required for ethical and competent professional performance;
* Foster ethical behavior, a sense of responsibility, and professional commitment;
* Promote sharing of practical experiences and reflections on healthcare delivery realities;
* Assist in direct patient care activities, always under supervision by a qualified professional;
* Support accurate documentation of information related to care provided;
* Collaborate with the nursing team in technical procedures and routine clinical activities;
* Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other educational initiatives organized by the institution;
* Adhere to biosafety standards, infection control protocols, and patient safety requirements;
* Maintain ethical conduct, professional confidentiality, and commitment to quality of care;
* Report any incidents clearly and responsibly to supervisors.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Nursing program, from the 6th semester onward.
DESIRED TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Prior involvement in extension projects, scientific initiation programs, or academic leagues;
* Previous knowledge of ANVISA regulations, RDCs (Regulatory Technical Resolutions), and clinical protocols;
* Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite).
