Interaction with global and regional teams **Business** Internal audit is an independent function whose objective is to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of BASF’s processes and internal control systems. The function is guided by the philosophy of adding value to improve BASF Group operations, supporting the company in achieving its objectives, enhancing organizational governance, and managing its risks. **Function** The internal audit function is responsible for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and the internal control system across various BASF areas. Additionally, it must identify and analyze risks and opportunities for process improvement. Finally, results are explained and communicated to BASF Senior Management and the Board. **Candidate** The Auditor is responsible for conducting audits across all company areas and Latin American countries. For successful audit execution, experience in data analysis, process improvement, project implementation, and interaction with global and regional teams is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills, full proficiency in English, and good knowledge of Spanish are required to conduct audits. Knowledge and experience in digital solutions, as well as international audit certification, are desirable.
