The QA Tester plays an essential role, ensuring the quality and reliability of our ESG platform. They design and execute testing strategies within an environment featuring microservices, a modern frontend, external integrations, and artificial intelligence systems. We seek someone with an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a strong quality orientation—capable of operating across the entire testing lifecycle, from planning through final delivery validation. Collaboration is close with Product and Technology teams, participating in refinement sessions and planning meetings, creating test plans, executing functional, API, automated, and specialized tests, documenting evidence, reporting bugs with technical depth, and tracking quality metrics. This BIUDer will join a high-level technical team responsible for a solution used by thousands of micro and small enterprises across Brazil. More than just testing, we seek a true ambassador of quality—collaborating with developers, proposing continuous improvements, and contributing to the evolution of a platform aligned with BIUD’s values of excellence, collaboration, and sustainability. **We’re looking for a professional who:** * Is curious and eager to continuously learn; * Communicates well and focuses on solving problems; * Is organized—able to follow processes and propose improvements; * Wants to grow alongside the company and be part of something bigger; * Can communicate effectively with diverse audiences; and * Presents ideas clearly and handles objections confidently. **What does the QA Tester we want at BIUD look like?** Analytical and detail-oriented, focused on quality and results, collaborative, proactive and investigative, communicative and clear in documentation and organization—and adaptable to shifting contexts and priorities. **A typical day for a QA Tester at BIUD:** * Plan and execute testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of the BIUD ESG platform; * Create, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, automations, and technical documentation; * Execute functional, API, integration, regression, and automated tests on frontend and backend; * Identify, document, and track bug resolution; * Participate in refinement sessions, planning meetings, and technical discussions; and * Generate quality reports, metrics, and indicators to support decision-making and continuous improvement. **What we’re looking for in you:** * Proficiency in Portuguese and strong technical writing skills * Organization, autonomy, and critical thinking * Solid QA experience—including manual and automated testing * API testing (REST) using Postman, Insomnia, and curl * Test automation with Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools * Experience with unit, integration, end-to-end (E2E), and regression testing * Hands-on experience with web applications built using React, Next.js, and TypeScript * API testing in Node.js—preferably with NestJS * Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases * Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar * Minimum of 3 years of practical QA experience **Nice-to-have qualifications that will catch our eye:** * Experience with performance, security, and accessibility testing * Testing of external integrations—including webhooks, third-party APIs, messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka, and Redis usage * Testing AI and LLM-based systems—including validation of non-deterministic responses and fallback scenarios * Code quality practices using tools such as SonarQube and code reviews focused on testability * Familiarity with Docker and docker-compose **What BIUD offers you:** * ?
