For more information, visit Worley.com We are looking for a **Senior Designer:** **Requirements:** * Generally, as part of responsibilities, possess knowledge of preparing technical documentation through application of fundamental engineering theories, techniques, and practices. Has knowledge of standards, regulations, building codes, manufacturing standards, and standard design practices relevant to control and development; * Experience in Civil Engineering within the mining sector, including multidisciplinary projects, infrastructure projects, geometric design, pavement design, signage, civil works, earthworks, drainage design, and quantity take-offs; * Preliminary and/or detailed design of drainage structures, hydraulic calculations, quantity take-offs, sketch preparation, compilation of calculation memoranda, preparation of quantity schedules, and creation of drawings for pavement, earthworks, drainage, signage, geometric design, and 3D modeling; * English (speaking, writing, and comprehension); * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to navigate intranet pages, conduct research, and synthesize information. Organize information from multiple sources according to prescribed formats and policies; * Familiarity with specialized design tools, analysis, modeling, and data-centric multidisciplinary design methodologies; * Proficiency in software such as CIVIL3D, INFRAWORKS, OPEN ROADS, etc. **Responsibilities:** * Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. Supports recommendations and prepares final documentation. Identifies technical issues, assists in developing alternative solutions, evaluates pros/cons of various options, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and seeks client approval. May review similar documentation to assist others and review/authorize work performed by the team; * Participates in preparing documents, drawings, spreadsheets, and supports Senior Engineers and Discipline Supervisors.
