**Responsibilities and Duties** **Brief Job Description:**
Responsible for audits, process improvements, indicator management, compliance with regulations, and implementation of actions to ensure excellence in patient care**.** Maintain quality and performance indicators, analyze results, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with hospital accreditation standards and risk management.
**Main Activities:**
* Receive, organize, verify, and control patients’ medical records and documents, ensuring completeness for billing;
* Sort and provide documents for internal and external audits upon request;
* Support the organization and control of regulatory instruments and departmental documents;
* Assist in identifying inconsistencies in medical records and flag them for correction by responsible departments;
* Contribute to improving work processes to enhance billing efficiency and quality;
* Maintain control and updating of department-related indicators (output, pending items, deadlines, etc.);
* Assist in tracking non-conformities and support implementation of corrective actions;
* Participate in training sessions and meetings of the quality and billing departments;
* Ensure proper physical and/or digital archiving of medical records, guaranteeing easy access and traceability;
* Support the control and organization of the document management system (where applicable);
* Collaborate in risk management by identifying potential process failures;
* Assist in preparing reports and information for monitoring departmental quality and performance;
* Provide support to internal departments, ensuring appropriate information flow for billing;
**Requirements and Qualifications**
### ***Requirements:***
* Completed high school education;
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite);
* Prior experience in hospital billing or SAME is desirable;
* Familiarity with document organization and administrative routines.
### ***Desirable Knowledge:*******
* Hospital information systems (Tasy, Interact or similar);
* Basic understanding of LGPD (Brazil’s General Data Protection Law);
* Basic understanding of auditing and quality indicators.
