




Job Summary: As a Process Engineer, you will optimize industrial processes, manage improvement projects, provide technical support, and lead industrial trials at Corbion. Key Highlights: 1. As our **Process Engineer**, you will report directly to the Technology Manager and identify, analyze, and implement actions to optimize industrial processes. **Responsibilities:** * Manage improvement projects and transfer of new technologies; * Suggest modifications and contribute to implementing actions that optimize productive resources (equipment, raw materials, labor, etc.); * Monitor critical plant processes and prepare appropriate documentation when required; * Collaborate in analyzing process failures and deviations, proposing and implementing corrective and improvement actions; * Integrate and provide technical support to Production, Engineering, Utilities, Quality, Research & Development, etc., to promote better productivity, quality, and safety performance; * Perform analysis and interpretation of factory-generated data to support improvement initiatives; * Deliver technical training across various organizational levels and serve as a resource on cross-functional project teams; * Lead industrial trials for new products or processes; * Conduct technical analysis, experimentation, evaluation, testing, and dissemination; * Create automation routine optimization; * Participate in risk assessments (Risk Assessment, HAZOPs, etc.); * Support commissioning activities for new projects. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; * Experience in chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries, with focus on continuous improvement and/or development of production processes; * Knowledge of fermentation, evaporation, biomass drying, and extraction/separation processes; * Skills in problem-solving, process optimization, commissioning, and start-up; * Ability to work independently and deliver results within defined deadlines; * Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time; * Languages: fluent in Portuguese and English. **About Corbion** Corbion is a sustainable ingredients company dedicated to preserving what matters—including food and its production, health, and the planet.
